About the role

We are looking for an Finance Operations Associate to own the day-to-day execution of our finance operations.

Your role is to ensure everything runs smoothly between our internal team, our external accounting & tax partners, banks, and vendors. You will work directly with our CFO and become the operational backbone of the finance function.

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations

• Coordinate closely and be the main point of contact with our external accounting firm and tax advisor

• Prepare supporting documentation for month-end and year-end closes

• Prepare payroll and other bank payments for CFO approval

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements

• Execute approved bank transfers and maintain payment records

• Maintain organized financial documentation and contracts

• Support audits, due diligence, fundraising, and compliance requests

• Assist with government grants and administrative reporting when required

• Continuously improve internal finance processes through automation and better workflows

You may be a good fit if you

• Have 2–5 years of accounting, finance operations, bookkeeping, or corporate finance experience

• Are comfortable coordinating with external accountants and tax professionals

• Are highly organized and meticulous with financial records

• Are trustworthy and exercise good judgment when handling company finances

• Can independently manage recurring operational tasks

• Enjoy creating structure and improving processes

• Understand that accuracy matters more than speed

• Are fluent in Korean and have business proficiency in English

Strong candidates may also have

• Experience at a startup or high-growth company

• Experience using ERP or accounting software

• Familiarity with online banking platforms and payment workflows

• Experience supporting audits or investor due diligence

• Experience with payroll administration

• Experience automating administrative work using AI or workflow tools
